A Story of Love, Loss & Resilience
For more than three decades, love, family, and faith have been at the heart of my story. My memoir, The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow, Right?, shares the journey my husband Jason and I walked together, from young love and raising our family to Jason's ALS diagnosis, my breast cancer diagnosis, caregiving, loss, and finding a new purpose in the aftermath.
Today, I share our story not for pity, but for connection, hope, and purpose. Through writing and ALS advocacy, I hope to honor Jason's legacy, support families walking this road, and remind others that even in the darkest seasons, there can still be light.

The Light of Jason
Jason was first and foremost a child of God; a beautiful soul who cared deeply for others. He was a devoted husband and father, a loving son and brother, a loyal friend, and a respected leader. Kind, funny, witty, determined, and always ready to face a challenge head-on, Jason lived by example and loved his family fiercely.
ALS became part of Jason's story, but it never defined him. His story is one of faith, love, family, courage, and the lasting impact one person can have on the people around him.

When Love Outlives a Diagnosis
What happens when the future you imagined suddenly changes?
Kelly's memoir is a story of young love, marriage, family, an ALS diagnosis, breast cancer, caregiving, loss, and the unexpected journey that followed.
It is not a story about ALS alone. It is a story about the people we love, the promises we make, the strength we discover when life doesn't go according to plan, and what it means to find purpose after profound loss.
Through love, faith, grief, resilience, and advocacy, Kelly shares how one chapter ended much earlier than she expected, and how she began writing the next.
